The Adams Rite MS1850S Deadlock has a laminated stainless steel bolt, and is one of the most sought after lock for a narrow stile aluminium door. The Adams Rite MS1850S-X5X Deadlock is similar to the Adams Rite MS1850S Deadlock, except the laminated stainless steel bolt is now shaped in a hook, to resist the parting motion of sliding door and jamb. The hookbolt adds an extra dimension of security, making the Adams Rite MS1850S-X5X a very popular lock for use on narrow stile aluminium doors in commercial, industrial and institutional establishments.

The Adams Rite MS1850S-X2X is a special configuration deadlock which utilizes a laminated stainless steel short bolt.

Similar to the ANSI sized Adams Rite MS1850SN is the ANSI sized Adams Rite MS1850SN-45X deadlock, except that the massive laminated bolt is provided in a hook shape to resist the parting motion of sliding door and jamb.
